3 Wallpaper Picks For Your Home!

Updated: Sep 15, 2021

If you have been following along the past week or so you know that I have been up to my ears in wallpaper - and I love it!

I think wallpaper might be my new favorite obsession!

For those of you who don't know, I am currently working on a boutique hotel in Stevenson, WA. One of the key design elements in the hotel is statement wallpaper. The hotel is a blend of modern and historic touches. More to come on the hotel and the wallpaper we chose, but for now I want to talk about wallpaper for YOU!

If you are interested in wallpaper, Manolo Walls is the place to shop! (Just look at all these options!)

Nelli, the owner of Manolo Walls, is the sweetest person and is so knowledgeable on products and the best contacts for installation. Plus, she is just so much fun to work with! If you are local to the Portland, OR area, go visit. And if you aren't, check out their website. You won't be disappointed!

Wallpaper Tip!

Start with a color palette for the space.

Wallpaper is so much fun and is a great way to add interest to a room, but you need it to compliment your space.

The best way to do this?

Gather the colors and styles of furniture and decor that will be in your space.

Ok, now on to the good stuff!

Kate Blairstone is a local Portland artist who has really knocked it out of the park with this piece. The colors in this wallpaper are stunning, and even more so in person! The red with the vibrant pops of yellow are balanced by the gray and black for a timeless look. It has a nod to the past, but is still here for a modern twist. This wallpaper will pack a punch in a powder bath!

This wallpaper comes in varying shades of white and gray. I love the mosaic feel with all of the small hidden gems intermixed. Something about this wallpaper evokes a feeling of wonder and curiosity. I love the idea of adding this to a nursery or kids room. It has fascinating details and is still neutral enough to grow with their changing interests!

This navy, pink, and yellow combo is a stunner! For those of you who love to support our pollinators this wallpaper is made for you! The beautiful curves in the flowers complement the geometric honeycomb in a perfect balance. I think this wallpaper would look phenomenal in an entry or even in the back of a bookshelf!
